On your way to Drake Castle, <Hunter's Spring> is the first destination that meets you. It is basically a location where the hunter's hang out and talk, and probably heal. There is not much to the place except some statues that will gives you some tutorials on what to do and descriptions of things in the game.
You can also heal all HP/MP at the fountain (see picture to the right). <Hunter's Spring> only has one item, located in a chest to the east and one "unique" person, Lezam.
Upon arriving at the location, you will be told about listening to the "interesting" stories that Lezam has to talk about. Lezam serves King Drake and is a messenger to the king. He originally was ordered to make it to Rim Elm to warn the village of the coming Mist. Unfortunately, he did not make it to Rim Elm in time and was turned into a Seru Monster. His sister can be found, after the Mist has cleared, at the front entrance inside Drake Castle. You just have to tell her that you know Lezam.
If you're wondering why "Originally Covered in Mist" above says "No," it's because you didn't encounter the location while it was in the Mist. Although, it is obvious that the location was in the Mist because Lezam clearly states that with his story.
The statues (hidden behind the fountain dialog in the image above) each explain a tutorial of their own. The yellow statue explains what Arts are, how to learn them, and also what AP is. The red statue gives a tutorial on what magic is, how to get the magic, and how to identify Seru. The blue statue is about Accessories and where to obtain the Accessories. Lastly, the green statue is about "Attack Power & Equipment", "Defense Power & Equipment", and "Abnormal Status."
