Gold Eyes is the second boss in the game and a battle that you cannot win. It doesn't matter what kind of combo you try to use or what "strategy" you might have in mind, nothing will defeat him. After three turns of useless attacks, Gold Eyes will strike at Lang using his supreme power, an Origin. Gold Eyes's Origin is named Igohl and is considered one of the two strongest Origins.
This isn't the only time you'll see Gold Eyes in the game. It's later revealed in the game as to who he is, his history, and what his goal is.
