Note that some sources will tell you this chreature is a boss simply because it does not have a health bar. For this site, it's not considered a boss because not only is there more than one of these, but it's not encountered like a boss would be in the game. Inferno is found by simply lighting the torches found in the Kabel Ruins. However, whether it should be considered a boss or not is more or less a personal choice.
Inferno uses a special attack called Savage Fist. It's really not all that powerful and is only targeted towards one player. The main thing to be prepared for is the melee attacks that Inferno puts on one character. It's usually a few hundred points more powerful than the Savage Fist. With a good cooked meal for the party, the Inferno should be as easy as a normal monster.
