After being defeated the first time, Gaza is taken away by Songi for (at first) unknown reasons. Songi heals Gaza along with making a custom-fit Sim-Seru. This causes Gaza to become possessed by the Sim-Seru and he fights against the three heroes in thinking that they're "blocking his way of carnage."
The second battle against Gaza is a lot harder than the first one. He has increased his damage and speed a lot more than before and attacks the entire party with a new powerful attack. All the attacks from the new Gaza are done with, what appears to be, telekinetic attacks. The first of his special attacks mentioned is called Astral Wave. It attacks a single target with a powerful fire beam and, unless in spirit, can take a huge amount of damage from the target.
Unfortunately, Astral Wave is not the big move to worry about against the second battle of Gaza. The big attack, called Neo Star Slash, attacks all three party members and takes even more damage than the Astral Wave does. If your character isn't using Spirit, the chances are that they will be knocked out, if not close to it. The move can take over 1,000 HP!
