Another very unique monster that the creators of Legaia came up with is the Pump Bat. It seems to be some kind of cross-breed between a pumpkin and a bat, hence the name. The thing walks on its two wings, but when attacking, will use the wings to generally fly up into the air.
The special attack that Pump Bat has is called Windcutter. It is a relatively strong attack, as you can see it taking 50 damage in the image. At upgraded forms of the Pump Bat, the Windcutter attack will aim for each of the characters in the party, rather than just one.
